I spent a good few hours wandering around, feeling like a kid in a candy store. I definitely splurged on some gorgeous yarns – you know, the kind you buy with the intention of knitting something spectacular, but then they just sit in your stash, judging you? Yeah, those ones. No regrets! (Yet...)
I also stumbled upon a stall selling handmade paper. Magnifique! I bought a stack of it, thinking of all the beautiful cards I could make. Side note: I haven't made any cards yet. I'm starting to think the salon is less about crafting and more about collecting crafting supplies. Am I alone in this?
The one slight downside? The sheer volume of people! It was crowded. Like, bumping-into-strangers-every-five-seconds crowded. Pro-tip: go early, wear comfortable shoes, and pack a bottle of water.
