Mostly just to get his hands on the Miraculous. Predictable, but hey, what's a superhero show without a villain, right?
Our first villain of the series is… Stoneheart! Remember him? Created from a rejected love confession. Poor guy. Talk about awkward timing. He grows bigger with every negative emotion. Is that a metaphor for life or what?
And the transformation sequences! Iconic. "Tikki, spots on!" Marinette's transformation is always so frantic and slightly panicked, while Adrien's is all smooth and cool. Opposites attract, am I right?
Ladybug and Cat Noir's first fight is… well, it's a first fight. They're figuring things out, bumping into each other (literally), and cracking jokes. Terrible jokes, mostly from Cat Noir. But that's why we love him, isn't it?
"Lucky Charm!" And the random object of the day is… a water hose! Seriously? How is she supposed to defeat a giant rock monster with a water hose? But hey, she’s Ladybug. She makes it work! Resourceful queen, that one.
The episode ends with Ladybug and Cat Noir awkwardly fist-bumping. Friendship goals, or maybe something more? Wink, wink. And Hawk Moth vowing revenge. Because of course he is.
